Arriving by car

From Vienna/Graz:
Take A2 exit St. Andrä/264, via
St. Paul/Lavanttal and Lavamünd
to Neuhaus.

From Klagenfurt:
Take A2 exit Griffen/273, via Ruden / Lippitzbacher Landesstraße in direction Bleiburg. At the roundabout near Bleiburg turn off to Neuhaus.

Arriving by public transport 

The nearest railway stations are St. Paul / Lavanttal (served by ÖBB), Kühnsdorf / Klopeiner See (served by Westbahn, ÖBB regional trains) and Bleiburg Stadt (served by ÖBB; regional trains).

There are several ways to get from the railway stations to Neuhaus:

By bus:

Bus 740 takes you from Kühnsdorf, Bleiburg or Lavamünd to the museum. The current bus timetable can be found at www.kaerntner-linien.at. The bus stop "Neuhaus b. Lavamünd, Abzw. Ort, Mast 2" is right in front of the museum.

By shuttle:

The "Go Mobil" is ideal for a direct journey from St. Paul and Bleiburg Stadt stations.  

GO Mobil Lavamünd can be reached on 0043 664 603 603 ext. 9473 (for journeys from St. Paul station and back), and GO Mobil Bleiburg on 0043 664 603 603 ext. 9150 (for journeys from Bleiburg Stadt station). Please book your journey by telephone at least one day before your trip.

The Museum Liaunig is a member of the GO Mobil Lavamünd and Bleiburg associations. You can purchase discounted tickets (known as "GOs") at the museum ticket office. Please inform your driver in advance that you are travelling to the Museum Liaunig.

From St. Paul and Kühnsdorf stations, you can also use the ÖBB shuttle service "ÖBB Transfer Kärnten". Here too, you have to book your journey one day in advance.
